Zahra Textile instituted in January 2005 to gain position in the quality yarn market. The growing robustness in the performance of the commodity in the international market, as well as the increased inclination of European and American manufacturers towards sourcing yarn from Third World countries, a facility that sets the precedent for the production of export-quality yarn, was deemed essential.
Zahra Textile has an installed capacity of 26,400 spindles capable of producing only quality coarse to medium count yarns. This state-of-the-art textile spinning unit is based on one of the best available technology internationally.
The plant will be producing approx 32 million lbs of yarn per annum, about half of which would consist of compact yarn. The project has commenced its commercial production in August 2006.
Stringent raw material selection, testing and the use of only Premium quality cottons available around the globe are our sureties of raw material input, and cotton is purchased during season for the entire following year.
